The Wilton Bullet type vise are very hard working. This model 20SA was a special model made for the military in WWII. The added anvil is ground flat and hardened. Swivel base with the twin lock down screws. One of the handles is missing the peen. The top of the jaws were also ground flat. There were refereed to as radio or jeweler vise. This has a 6 - 46 date stamp. This make it a very early 1946 model for public sale. When Wilton opened up sales to the public after the war in 1946 this vise sold for $12.20. That was a lot of money then. It is pricey, yes. Yet I have not seen another sell for less at auction.
