This file cabinet was made by the Office Specialty Manufacturing Co of Rochester NY, . Victorian patent walnut vertical filing cabinet consisting of a wooden case with 36 vertical drawers with shelf cards and pulls held in place with a central locking device. The top of the case with egg and dart molding. There is a central locking system with the handle on the bottom. 

Their Lang Document File was their name for this type of vertical cabinet. This was advertised in the Aug 15 1889 edition of The American Stationer. 

MEASUREMENTS: 79-1/2" x 34-1/2" x 15". CONDITION: Wear consistent with age. Each drawer has inside dimension of 4 1/2"w 10"d 10" h
